  3. with shepherding = ?
    Congrat!
with shepherding :What that does mean?
what is the implication of “SHORT paper” ? Does it mean that you are not
supposed to be physically there and talk ? or also when a paper is acceoted (not a “SHORT paper” )
there is no need to to be physically there and talk ?
    a.non.

shepherding is standard afaik, it means a program committee member works with the authors to improve the paper.
short paper means that it’s not full size ๐Ÿ™‚ for this conference, it means up to 6 pages. The implication is that this is interesting, but not as interesting as some of the other papers, which are full length. For this conference 21 full length papers were accepted and 15 short papers.
In “real” conferences, they don’t accept papers unless you come and present them. So, no, it does not mean that there’s no need to be there.

  4. So I guess I have to ask what one does with an “IP Only Server”.

    • everything one does with a regular server, except hook various peripherals to it. Just hook it to an IP network and install the client software, and turn it on. Over IP proceed to work with the unmodified bios and unmodified os — including when they crash.
