    You rule.
Googling for “Calgary IOMMU” lead to a lot of patches, kernel discussions and your live journal entries, but no explanation of what it actually means.
Can you link to a “Calgary IOMMU for dummys” document? Just so I’ll have a clue on what you are talking about?

Luckily, I went to his lecture about it. I now consider myself ignorant about IOMMUs in a much more knowledgeable manner. I jokingly called his lecture the “how to understand Muli’s blog posts” lecture.

Yeah, IOMMU for Dummys still going to be a fair bit of reading, before you even get into Calgary IOMMU esoteric-ness (esotericity?).

We wrote a paper that we’ll present at OLS next week on our IOMMU work, which includes a bunch of background reading. I’ll put it online when the proceedings will be available; in the mean time, I’ll be happy to send you a copy if you’re interested. Slides from my Haifux talk are already available at http://www.mulix.org/lectures/using-iommus-for-virtualization/using-iommus-for-virtualization.pdf
