I haven’t tried it myself, but I suspect that literally “whipping someone into shape,” is likely to be as successful as one I have tried: “Shaking them until they’re smart.”
It hasn’t worked yet – but I intend to keep shaking.

Right now jogging and a bit of free-form weight lifting. I need to lose so much weight it’s not even funny. Once I get down to a “fighting weight”, I plan to restart martial arts training. Haven’t decided what yet—I have a few years of krav maga and ninjitsu under my belt, but may pick up something else.
