Haifux, the Haifa Linux club, whose meetings I’ve been attending for over four years now, has a lovely new website look. Kudos, ladypine!

  1. I am, unfortunately, still stuck with Windoze on my machine and got no time to install linux and geek with it at all 馃槮 I will nevertheless be happy to attend your lecture in TAU on the 30th, provided another unexpected test does not land on me.

    • You will have to be more specific, as I’m not aware of any lecture I’m giving at TAU, on the 30th or otherwise…

      • Strange. There was an announcemnet that on the 30th of December there’s going to be a lecture about linux networking I think with you as lecturer. It was on the bulletin board.
[then I went to the Tau linux club website] and checked.
Apparently, they still haven’t removed the last year’s announcement from the bulletin board, which is what I must have seen.

The video is however not freely available. I was so happy to see that you guys recorded the lectures but was disappointed that I can’t download them.

    • – the video is not available online due to space issues. Each lecture is several hundred megabytes… after thinking about it for a while, we decided that selling them at cost, by directly mailing them to interested people is the way to go. If there was storage available for them, they’d be online, freely downloadable…
      – you do realize the lectures are in Hebrew, right? 馃槈
