Can’t you connect your laptop’s TV-out to your TV? Or is the joke that you don’t have a TV? I find watching on a laptop, especially when there is more than one person involved (especially three!) painful: most laptop’s displays are direction-oriented, and a slight angle produces an icky film, especially in the darker sequences.
