Looks like IBM has joined the modern age and will start encouraging employees to blog. Here’s the Official Blogging Policy. This is probably a good time to mention once again that anything you read here does not represent in any way shape or form IBM’s opinions. Like… duh.

    That’s kinda cool. People working for other companies have mostly been fired for having a blog.

      Nobody has been fired for just having a blog. People have been fired for things they wrote in their blogs or for writing in their blogs during their work instead of, well, working, although in all cases I know the latter was used merely as an excuse when they couldn’t officialy fire them for things they wrote due to stuff like first amendment etc.
