After work today, ladypine and me went out for a nice dinner in Neve Sha’anan, an area close to the Tecnion which always makes me feel very studential (is that a word? flyspell mode doesn’t think so), and then went to see The Last Samurai.
That movie rocks my world. I’m going to see it again, and then buy the DVD, and then put on my ninjitsu training suit every day and practice with the bokken (wooden sword) in front of it. That is all.
Tom Cruise speaking japanese is just so sexy!

Don’t tell anyone, but I found his haircut and beard in the movie oh-so-sexy. I want a beard just like that!

Wait…
To be incredibly pedantic, that’s not ninjutsu, that’s bushido. :-B

Re: Wait…
Oh, I am well aware of the difference, but bushido is not a martial art, while ninjitsu is. Therefore, one cannot have a “bushido” martial art training suit, but one can have a ninjitsu training suit…

Re: Wait…
Oh… OK. Maybe try finding a kendo uniform, which should fit better with the bokken. 🙂

Nice advertisment to “The Last Samurai” (Tom Cruise doesen’t need any 🙂
I think I’ll by a CD. Don’t know when it will come to our cinemas.
May be after The Lord Of The Rings 🙂

Hey, it’s not an advertisement if you really mean it 🙂

May be it is not… but it works 🙂
I just took a tape (we have only screen copy version so I decided not to buy DVD) and I’m going to see it now 🙂

I think the word should be studious.

Nah.. I don’t mean it makes me want to study, it makes me feel like a student (which I am, but I don’t usually feel that way…)
